Children's Hospital Colorado Opens New Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center in Highlands Ranch

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo., Nov. 4, 2026 — Children's Hospital Colorado (Children's Colorado) today announced the opening of its new Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center in Highlands Ranch. The new facility is designed as a one-stop-shop specifically for pediatric orthopedic patients and competitive youth athletes, combining expert clinical care, therapy, imaging services and sports medicine. This location will also include a flagship sports performance program.

The center reflects the hospital's ongoing investment in expanding access to its nationally recognized services, which were previously offered at nearby Children's Colorado Centennial and South Campus locations. Multiple service offerings are combined with a streamlined referral process and same-day appointments.

Children's Colorado orthopedic and sports medicine clinics are located on the upper level of the center. The lower level features a full-sized gym, basketball court and sports field, designed to support training, therapy and performance goals. The expanded space and specialized equipment allow young athletes to improve strength, movement and endurance in an environment tailored to their unique developmental needs. Together, these services provide youth athletes with seamless support during every stage of their journey, from injury prevention and diagnosis to rehabilitation, recovery and return to play.
