Port St. Lucie brings together golfers in support of the Lightbridge Academy community
ISELIN, N.J., Nov. 4, 2026 — The Lightbridge Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Lightbridge Academy, The Solution for Working Families®, raised $30,000 during its second annual Lightbridge Academy Golf Outing in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The event brought together members of the Lightbridge Academy community to support the nonprofit's mission of providing assistance to children, families, educators and franchise owners during times of need.
Hosted by Al Ferrari, franchise owner of Lightbridge Academy of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Mark Mathias, multi-unit franchise owner in Valhalla and Scarsdale, New York, the outing welcomed 56 golfers for a day of golf and philanthropy. Proceeds from event sponsorships, golfer participation and on-site fundraising will directly support the Foundation's ongoing efforts to strengthen the Lightbridge Academy community.
The Lightbridge Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to championing the health, education and well-being of children and families while providing support to Lightbridge Academy staff, franchise owners and the communities they serve. Since 2001, the Foundation has raised more than $1.9 million for meaningful causes and individuals in need. Fundraising efforts across Lightbridge Academy centers engage parents, children and educators in giving back, helping instill the values of kindness, compassion and service from an early age.
"The Lightbridge Foundation reflects the strength of our community and our commitment to showing up for one another when it matters most," said Audrey Feci, Executive Director of The Lightbridge Foundation. "The funds raised through this year's golf outing will help advance the Foundation's work and provide meaningful support to those who make our network so special. We're grateful to everyone who contributed their time, resources and generosity to make this event possible."
Following the success of this year's fundraiser, Lightbridge Academy plans to host a third annual Lightbridge Academy Golf Outing in Florida in fall 2027. Additional details will be announced at a later date.
